Alligators are my favorite animals to exist, I think they’re just neat. I wanted to sculpt one but something different in some way, so I combined a gator and a whale. I sculpted this in Zbrush and composited in photoshop and I’m really happy with how it turned out! I think the part I enjoyed the most was compositing within photoshop, a new technique I learned was adding lighting in Photoshop using just the normals which is very useful to save time on rendering different lighting setups.
